This has been a busy cupcake event week, and today was no exception. Rachel and I attended a wonderful media luncheon at Tavern on the Green in Central Park. The purpose of the luncheon was to announce the kick-off for Cancer Care's Annual Cupcakes For a Cause Bake Sale Season.
Duncan Hines is the national sponsor for Cupcakes For A Cause and the cupcake picture above is from their new decadent carrot cake mix which is really good!
Clare Crespo, our inspiration for the cupcake blog, was there giving tips on how to bake fun cupcakes! Also, Gabrielle from the newly renamed Kirtsy sat at our table during lunch which was kinda like being a wedding reception but without any pressure.
