I went there last time I was in NYC. The bouncer presence is obnoxious. He really is like a bouncer at a bar: big, brawny, stone-faced. Couldn't they get a nice, cheerful, colorfully-dressed bouncer? Handing out samples?
The cupcakes were not worth all that attitude, IMHO. I will try Sugar Sweet Sunshine next time.
