Delicious and delightful! I sampled the lemon cupcake. The tart candided lemon peel twist was the perfect complement to the sugary frosting top - which was creamy, yet structured. The cake itself was flavorful and moist, but not too moist. The smallish size of the cupcake helped ease the 'uh-oh summer is right around the corner' guilt factor. Will definitely return to try more cupcakes!

Tried them yesterday after they opened, and went back for more today! The Cappuccino Cupcake is my favorite so far - all were delicious though. And the space is so different from everything else in the neighborhood, like a tiny, sugary oasis. Great addition to the Back Bay!

I tried 4 of them today. some coworkers and I split the lemon, cappuccino, and the two chocolate variations. I have to say I was sorely disappointed. They were beautiful to behold but nothing special in flavor. I can't say that I'll return. :(

I just ran across this place today as a friend and I walked down mass ave. curious to know more about it, i googled the shop and came across your write up. Had a vanilla on vanilla mini cupcake. Amazing. Very natural tasting...doesn't seem like they use artifical additives. Mini was a perfect size, but flavors were limited. When I went to the counter after savoring my yummy treat (to see what else I could buy, because YES, I would be back) I was taken by the boston cream pie and the s'mores. Too much for today so I didn't try them, but yes, I will be back. Some of the best cupcake store cupcakes I have ever had.

Heard about this cupcake shop and were anxious to try. Stopped by on Saturday and purchased a chocolate with the white frosting and wanted to try the pumpkin, and red velvet, as well. We were not concerned about the price; after all these cupcakes were SPECIAL! WRONG! The cupcakes tasted like they were made from a mix and there was too much frosting. Just ordinary fare! Stay away from the mini ones; they were bone dry. We spent $16 for 3 cupcakes and 2 mini's, and a half pint of milk; that is rediculous. Yes, we will NOT be going back. We will continue to take the "T" to Mike's.
