Made these cupcakes for my dad, who is from Sicily, and tried to incorporate all the flavours that remind him of home. OK, so not all the flavours but I didn't think that grapes and Pecorino cheese would lend themselves to a cupcake.
They're flavoured with ground almonds & Fiori Di Sicilia, with lemon and orange cream cheese frosting. Simply decorated in the colours of the Italian flag.
