I have two favorites, my mum's bonny butter cake, cupcakes with the creamiest, fluffiest icing on top. They are melt in your mouth good, buttery and sweet all in one adorable little package.

My mother in law makes an amazing chocolate cupcake that's made with oranges. Mmmmm. Great at Easter when decorated with a little icing carrot on top.

Oh I wish I had a cupcake now :)

My favorite cupcake recipe is the chocolate sour cream cupcake from this book, and then oreo buttercream frosting (just your typical vanilla buttercream with crushed Oreos mixed in).

My favorite cupcake recipe is the chocolate cupcake that uses no eggs, butter or milk. It's great for people with dairy allergies and is so fluffy and moist. My favorite frosting to put on this is the chocolate buttercream frosting recipe that you once posted on this blog, topped with dark chocolate shavings. You can never wrong with chocolate on chocolate! :)

my fave so far is the magnolia bakery vanilla cupcake with their vanilla icing. It is so moist and that icing tastes like ice cream! Awsome! Made some for father's day and they were a real hit~

My two favorite cupcakes are from Happy Cakes Denver. The Cosmo and the Pom Pom. The cosmo is a delicious cupcake made with vodka soaked cranberries and topped with lime zest buttercream. The pom Pom is a delicously moist chocolate cupcake with delicious vanilla buttercream dipped in Trix cereal. They make me feel like a kid.

Both of these cupcakes are offered on Friday which makes it hard to stop by with out picking up a bunch. The reason I love Happy Cakes cupcakes is that they make buttercream like my mom. It is butter, milk powdered sugar and vanilla (or some other liquid flavoring). I do not like meringue based buttercreams nearly as much. Just talking about my favorites makes me hungry. It's only monday, 4 days to go.

I think so far my favorite cupcakes recipe has been the chocolate truffle filled almond cupcakes I made about a month ago. I really love chocolate and almond together, and that cupcake was just beyond decadent. Plus, it got me a mention on this site!

My favorite to date is chockylit's take on the girlscout samoan cookie in cupcake form. I made some and brought them to work and a coworker explained it was the best thing he'd ever eaten (and he eats a lot).

I'm tempted to make them tonight!

My absolute to die for cupcake is a Coconut-Lime Cupcake that I found years ago. They are oh so wonderfully moist and loaded with flavor, topped with a dreamy lime whipped cream frosting and dusted with fine shredded coconut. It is sure to transport you to that warm hawaiian beach in an instant. It is oh so yummy and making my mouth water right now! Gotta go make some now! Yumm!

My favorite cupcake is a cupcake I make with cinnamon sugar and french vanilla. It gets this really awesome somewhat cruncy cinnamon sugar crust all around the cupcake, that to me, is so delicious!

I usually can't decide between a regular vanilla flavored icing or a buttercream with these. So I make enough to cover even number with both. You can never be too sure which one is more tasty :)

I have to say my chocolate peanut butter cupcakes. Peanut butter flavored cake with chocolate buttercream--and of course garnished with chopped peanut butter cups. To me, chocolate and peanut butter is the best combination ever!

They have cheered when I bring out the cupcakes and "chocolate beards" on their smiley faces confirm that this also is their favourite cupcake recipe!

I AM IN LOVE WITH THE CARROT CAKE RECIPE IN THE WILLIAMS SONOMA BRIDE & GROOM'S FIRST COOKBOOK. MAKING THIS RECIPE INTO CUPCAKES IS IDEA BECAUSE THE RATIO OF CAKE TO FROSTING IS JUST PERFECT! IT USES CARROT BABYFOOD TO KEEP THE CUPCAKES MOIST, MMMMM, DELICIOUS!

My all time fave cupcake recipe is Ina Garten's Carrot Cake Cupcake with Cream Cheese Frosting. It is moist and decadent and people go crazy for it! Just the right balance of sweetness and spice (and a layer of cream cheese frosting never hurts!).
