There's a new cupcake business in Greenville, South Carolina called Cupcake Couture & Catering. You can see photos here and here. They recommend ordering at least 48 hours in advance. Check out their flavors, which include sugarfree vanilla and dark chocolate, and eggless vanilla, alongside coconut, lemon, banana, chocolate mint, chocolate and peanut butter, and blondie (with Heath bar and crushed toffee chips!). They also ship their cupcakes but it's on the pricey end.

The Greenville News wrote:
Anna Featherston left a six-figure pharmaceutical sales job in Florida to make cupcakes.
When she was a child growing up in Virginia, Featherston loved helping her mother and grandmother cook.
After her family moved to Greenville, she met cake decorator Anne Coleman and decided to pursue that culinary love full-time. In April, the two opened Cupcake Couture & Catering on Pelham Road, across the parking lot from The Corporate Deli and behind Dallas Sky Salon.
The interior of the bakery looks like a decorated cupcake with bright splashes of color and vibrant pink polka dots on the walls.
Featherston does most of the baking, using her grandmother's from-scratch recipe for the cupcakes.
"A lot of bakeries start with a cake mix," Featherston said. "We start with flour, sugar and eggs. That will never change."
Cake flavors include the typical chocolate, yellow, white, etc., along with specialty flavors such as Chocolate Vegan, Double Chocolate Chip, All Coconut and Double Strawberry.

They offer mini-cupcakes of the same flavors as their big cupcakes, which was a relief to me, who knows better than to ever eat a whole cupcake.

I am a frequent customer and can attest to the authenticity and tast of their delectable art..It is truly unique and you can tell they are made from scratch..and very artistically done..they have several dummie cakes that are in the store front.. i do know also that the partnership broke over the summer..regardless.. i dont think anyone was stealing..i just hate to see such a great little shop get bad press....
love your blog spot.. hope cupcakes/cakes dont take a plunge with the economy.. im a big fan...
