While reading the playbill of my friend Neal Medlyn's Unpronounceable Symbol show last week, I saw that Farris who plays the bassist said he loved cupcakes. So I just had to do a quick interview at Sugar Sweet Sunshine.
What's your favorite cupcake?
Chocolate cake with chocolate icing; all the way chocolate.
How often do you bake?
I just moved, but I would try new recipes every other weekend depending on my baking mood. I also like to make cookies with cake batter.
What's your first cupcake-related memory?
Birthdays...My mom would bake cupcakes.
What would a Prince cupcake look and taste like?
A Prince cupcake would look like sex and taste like Jesus. Of course if it tasted like sex and look like Jesus, that would be good too.
How do cupcakes compare/contrast to other baked goods for you?
Cupcakes are what all baked goods aspire to become.
Is there any innovation you'd like to see made to the cupcake that
would improve it for you?
Innnovation? Well if someone could make this Prince cupcake I'm talking about, then that's all I need.
