IRON CUPCAKE:Earth, yes a lofty name indeed. It should be, it is a way for bakers from anywhere, all over the world, to take place in the ultimate flavor challenge and promote world peace, one cupcake at a time. Yeah, lofty again...but it couldn't hurt.
You can win all sorts of cupcaketastic prizes.
Spice up your taste buds. Think outside the box, the first IRON CUPCAKE:EARTH challenge is CHILI PEPPER. Develop a cupcake using ANY of the over 100 kinds of chili pepper available, dried or fresh. Use them in your cake, your frosting, your filling or all of the above. Be creative, and, oh yeah...it SHOULD taste good as well.
FINAL DAY TO SUBMIT IS: FRIDAY, AUGUST 29, 12 noon. All times are Central Standard time.
