Crumbs Bake Shop Beverly Hills Celebrates Their One Year Anniversary with Free Cupcakes
‘Originators of the Gourmet Cupcake’ Expand
With Four More Stores in the LA Area
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 25, 2008) – Crumbs Bake Shop, the originator of the gourmet cupcake, will celebrate their one-year anniversary in Los Angles with a special (and delicious) promotion. On Friday, September 26th, 2008, LA customers will receive a free cupcake of their choice with any purchase at Crumbs’ Beverly Hills location.
On the heels of this fantastic milestone, and coupled with the recent success of the recently opened Larchmont location, Crumbs has announced further expansion into the Los Angeles market. In October, shops will open in both Los Feliz and The Americana in Glendale. A spot in the highly anticipated Malibu Lumber Yard will open its doors in November, and a fourth shop will debut at The Commons in Calabasas in January 2009. On the East Coast, ten additional stores are about to open in NYC, Connecticut, New Jersey and Long Island.
The cupcakes have been a hit on the party scene as well, with Crumbs catering high-profile events including the Sex and the City DVD release party, Entertainment Tonight Emmy® Celebration and the annual ELLE Women in Hollywood Event.
“It’s been a fantastic year for all of us at Crumbs,” said Mia Bauer, Crumbs co-founder. “Los Angeles has really welcomed us with open arms and we’re very excited by the expansion. We just wanted to give everyone a huge ‘thank you’ and what is a better way to do that than with a cupcake?”
Crumbs Bake Shops are designed and inspired by old-world French café's, creating a warm and friendly environment with wall-to-wall treats. The first bake shop opened its doors in March of 2003 on the Upper West Side of Manhattan by co-founders Mia & Jason Bauer. There are currently six locations in New York and two in Beverly Hills. The specialty of the house is cupcakes; however the menu also adds an irresistible blend of comfort-oriented classics and elegant baked goods. There are more than 35 varieties of cupcakes baked fresh daily with a new cupcake of the week debuting each Monday.
