from the blog The Life of a Cupcake. She used this rainbow cupcake recipe from No One Puts Cupcake in a Corner.
Friday was a very special day as I was dropping Baby Cupcake and Hooch the dog off at their appropriate babysitters and driving out to my sister’s grade 6 class to surprise her students and teach them how to make Cinnamon Apple Cupcakes with Vanilla Icing. They were so excited - all I could hear in the hallways was, “Mrs. Cupcake’s here, did you see her?” and “Yah! So cool, Mrs. Cupcake’s here!”.
So - to the Sweet Gang in Mrs. Neufeld’s room - a hearty WOOT WOOT to all of you! You were great and so were your cupcakes. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.
To me the most impressive part is that the class has a blog! Boy, do I feel old! That's pretty awesome. They wrote:
Thank you so much to Mrs. Cupcake for traveling all the way from Saskatchewan for a surprise cupcake lesson! We were so thrilled to have you in our classroom. The Apple Cinnamon Cupcakes were delicious and we will hopefully make them at home for Thanksgiving.
