Pastry chef Andrea Lekberg of Morristown will treat guests to her secrets to making extraordinary, upscale cupcakes during a special demonstration at the National Council of Jewish Women, West Morris Section's Paid-up Membership Meeting. Best of all -- everybody leaves with cupcakes!
"Cupcakes to a New Level," will be held Sunday morning, Oct. 26, at 10 a.m. at a private home in Morris Township. All paid-up members are invited to this free event. Prospective members may pay up that morning as well -- $35 annual dues; $90 for a three-year membership; $350 for a lifetime membership.
The demonstration will focus on the latest trends in these bite-sized treats, including:
- The use of different icings for different effects.
- How to choose a filling and fill a cupcake.
- Dipping cupcakes in chocolate to make them extra delicious.
- Decorations: edible and non-edible choices...
