"Dolly Parton" cupcakes for breast cancer benefit

Boob cupcakes

The Courier-Mail reports on these cupcakes from Carousels Cupcakes and Coffee in Brisbane, Australia for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Naturally, the cakes - playfully titled Dolly Partons - come in pairs and are packaged in a box with a pink ribbon for $12.

And 10 per cent of proceeds will be donated to Cancer Council Queensland.

The cakes come in a range of flavours - white chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and cookies and cream - and are covered with flesh-coloured icing sourced specially from a Victorian supplier.

"We've been open nearly a year now but this is the first time we've done any novelty cakes," Ms Olsen said. "Although I have been approached by a pharmaceutical group to do something for men's prostate cancer next month ... "

$12 for 2 cupcakes with only 10% going to charity? Can anyone say rip-off?

It's probably 12 Australian dollars, which is far less than the American dollar...
