Only in Texas would "drive-thru cupcakes be possible. A reader emailed news about a dessert boutique called Ooh La La Sweets in Katy, Texas (a suburb of Houston) The best part--it has a DRIVE-THRU! You can get your cupcakes on the run! No need to take the kids out of the car.
Cupcake flavors include to Pretty in Pink (strawberry), The Bunny Boo (carrot), and Velvet Elvis (red velvet) and a PB&J cupcake for back-to-school.

I recently visited Ooh La La and, while the rest of her desserts looked oh-so-yummy, the cupcakes were NOT very good. The tasted like they came right out of a box...and that is a BIG no-no for me. If you're in Houston looking for a good cupcake, try Crave Cupcakes in the Galleria area. ...However, you DO have to walk in...sooo....

Ooh la la's cupcakes I agree were not the best, I didn't get the "out of the box taste" I felt the ingredients were quality, just not a great flavor/ texture mix - especially for the price. But they have the best coconut cream pie I have every tasted!
