Ironically, on National Chocolate Cupcake Day, Sherman Oaks, California bakery Leda's Bake Shop will sell its last cupcakes. I never got a chance to try them, even though when I go to LA, I stay in Sherman Oaks. Here's a roundup of photos of Leda's cupcakes. LA people, get over there in the next few days. I’ve got some great news! Leda’s Bake Shop is undergoing some exciting changes and developing an innovative new concept to meet the growing needs of our large and loyal following. To properly prepare for this transition Leda’s Bake Shop will be closed to the public starting October 19, 2008. In order to continue to serve our customers during this time, we will gladly accept pre-orders for your special events.
At this point, I can’t divulge the specifics. We’re keeping it under wraps to ensure its fresh arrival! But rest assured it will be the same delicious, high quality mouthwatering treat you’ve come to expect from us!
Baking is truly my passion and it has been such a pleasure to serve you. I want to thank you all for your kindness and support over the last three years. And I want to thank you in advance for your patience during our transition.
Stay tuned for our exciting new concept which we will launch in February 2009.
