We heart If You Give a Cat a Cupcake

If You Give a Cat a Cupcake by Laura Numeroff, illustrated by Felicia Bond, is a fun book. I read it to my almost-3-year-old cousin Adam last night and he had a lot of fun (then later we read another book in the series If You Give series).
