The company specializes in appetizing cupcakes with a twist on family favorites or a new creation named after her customers.
"I like playing with adult flavors ... my inspiration comes from drinks and desserts," said Weglarz-Houser who opened the company a year and a half ago. She's served her cupcakes at five weddings since August. "My flavors are something fun that people can create on their own by mixing and matching."
Flour Designer Cupcakes has plenty of items on the menu for customers to chose from. The more popular flavors include Bananas Foster with Jamaican rum buttercream frosting or the Margaritaville complete with salt and sugar around the rim.
Some prefer the MMMississippi Mud, a concoction of double chocolate and Oreo cake, topped with caramel and pecans finished with an Oreo and Kona coffee buttercream frosting.
