I still have to do a proper writeup of my Austin cupcake fun, but for now, you can check out this Flickr set from Sugar Mama's Bakeshop. Owner Olivia, shown here with her 1-year-old son Jack, was totally cool and let me go in the back and watch a little bit of their cupcake magic.
Speaking of Jack, he even has a cupcake named after him!
Our son Jack is turning one next week, so to celebrate Sugar Mama's is offering the Jack's Lemon cupcake for $1 from December 7th-12th!* It's his way of saying "Thanks for keeping me in fly baby clothes, Austin!"
And tomorrow all you Austinites can get a free cupcake (I recommend the banana pudding, shown below) for being a good citizen:
Since it's the season for giving, we'd like to help you do your part by hosting a canned food drive at our bakery. Come in December 10th between noon and 8, bring in 2 or more non-perishables and get a dessert of your choice, on the house!* Makes giving feel that much better, doesn't it?
