One Girl Cookies in Brooklyn -- a must visit for Stacie

Like so many Manhattanites, I rarely get to Brooklyn, no matter how hip it is. But these recent new Brooklyn bakeries and making me think about taking the trip. I have my passport and am fully inoculated, so why not? (No Brooklyn hate mail, please?)

Has anyone else had one of these? Thoughts? Feelings? Anyone wanna come a-cupcaking with me?

I've had one...the cake is really good! It's a cute little shop as well with treats that are just the perfect size.

I went to One Girl in 5/2008. The icing was yummy. The cake was too dry and lacked flavor. The pumpkin whoopie pie cookie was divine.

my favorite icing in all the city, though the cake wasnt anything special. put the two together, hands down the best cupcake i had all year, besides my own!

I'll probably stop by in January, but in the second week, not the first, when I'm ready to blow all of my New Year's Resolutions out of the window.
