Trying to figure out what kind of cupcakes to make for my friend's birthday party, I received some help from the guests and decided upon fresh blackberry. Perfect for my horrible longing for warmer weather to arrive. These cupcakes were a great combination of fruity and sweet, without being too sugary. The tartness of the blackberries lent a nice juicy flavor to the otherwise sugar idea of the cupcakes and the cream cheese frosting is always a crowd pleaser.
