Whole Foods stack-o-cupcakes

I saw this stack of cupcakes today at Whole Foods, but (Shh!) I opted for a turtle parfait instead. (I love caramel.) The parfait was good but a bit too much. Glad I had someone to share it with. Anyway, here are the cupcakes:

I've always been a fan of the single cupcake in a case. Portable cupcake enjoyment, smush-free.

If they're like the cupcakes from Whole Foods in London avoid them! they were full of oil and the frosting was very wrong!

I work at Whole Foods and I really like our cupcakes. We make our own Italian and American Buttercream to put on the cupcakes too. I'm not sure about other stores, but ours are yummy.

I was wondering if anyone knows who is decorating the cupcakes at the Whole Foods at Time Warner. They are incredibly cute with Valentines day themes-pairs of birds, butterflys on sunflowers. Really over the top but well executed decorations.
