Ivy Bakery, a cute little bakery in the Fort Hamilton/Bay Ridge neighborhood in Brooklyn sent an announcement via their Facebook page that they would be selling gluten-free and dairy-free cupcakes on Saturday and Sunday only. I stopped by yesterday, and bought one of each of the gluten free cupcakes on sale-carrot cake, strawberry banana and sweet potato. All of the cupcakes were moist and the dairy free frosting was so good that I didn't miss what's missing. The carrot cake has a burst of spice that I really like. The strawberry banana has a nice chunk of strawberry and the sweet potato tasted sweet but not too sweet.
