When I saw this adorable dinosaur cake and matching cupcakes, I smiled. That's what cupcakes should do (besides taste good): make people smile. I also love seeing cake/cupcake combinations because it shows that it's not all about cupcakes (though obviously we here at Cupcakes Take the Cake wouldn't mind if it were). But cupcakes work so well for parties because they are versatile, can be made into designs and in an endless array of colors and can pair up with a larger cake to get the best of both worlds.
