The 100-cupcake baking challenge of 2009 is underway...

Yes! Five frostings have been made:

• lemon cream cheese
• cinnamon cream cheese
• chocolate ganache
• pomegranate cream cheese
• walnut cream cheese

And, the carrot cake cupcakes are in the oven. They have pineapple and toasted walnuts in them, but I worry that they aren't "carroty" enough and that I overdid the nutmeg. We'll see. I was using these fancy cupcake liners and there were only 23 in the pack instead of 24. Kinda irritating, but I think I'll just have to eat that cupcake. Spare people the mismatch.
