I discovered Tessa of cookies and candids on Flickr (username: tessastrauss), and she has kindly allowed me to spotlight her amazing cupcake photos. She calls it "baking-therapy" on her blog (I have cupcake-eating-therapy, ha!) and writes:
I love the challenge of baking, of not knowing what shape your batter will take in the oven or how the flavors will change; the constant experiment is exhilarating, and I can spend hours researching and perfecting a recipe.

What stood out for me about her cupcakes are their creativity and sense of fun. I mean, chocolate and tomato? And the nasturtiums...those were the ones that first captured my eye.
