Twitter cupcakes, again, because there can never be too many

We've been diligently updating our list of cupcake bakeries on Twitter every time we find another one, and now it has 31 listings! That's very cool to see, especially with bakeries Twittering their flavors of the day, specials, sales and other information relevant to customers. Now Grub Street has tipped us off to BakerTweet. I'll let them describe themselves:

In simple terms it's a bakery-proof box that sends messages wirelessly to Twitter. The clever bit is that the baker can update their messages and things they're selling using a simple web interface. Obviously not something that you'd do mid-bake but it's an important feature for future-proofing the device.

You can follow @AlbionsOven in London to see what's Tweeting. I can only imagine what would happen if cupcake bakeries got in on this!

Speaking of Twitter and cupcakes, Internet sensation iJustine (@ijustine) went to San Francisco's Kara's Cupcakes and got some cupcakes to bring to the Twitter offices, all captured on video:
