Chansons pour enfants

As is well-known by this point, my French is abysmal. But, I think I've nailed this one: Songs for kids! None of it really matters though when you see these cupcakes, lovingly crafted by Little Miss Cupcake Paris:

I don't think it's a worm, I think it's a pirate hook! Would also make sense with the children's story theme.

I think the "wormy one" is a hook?
Absolutely love your blog! We have been trying to get a cupcake shop to be a vendor at our show in Puyallup, WA. Wondered if you could help us find one?

Check out our blog too!

Hey! Thanks so much for the post! The "wormy one" is in fact a reaping tool used for the harvest called a "faucille" in French. It's like the sickle that you have on the Russian flag.

Since I didn't grow up in France, I don't know all the kids' songs that well but my husband suggested this one. It was late and this was the last topper I made. The next day I looked up the song words and it's quite racy - about a girl who encounters 4 boys along the road while she goes to cut back some bushes and the "harvesting" they do together! It's apparently a quite beloved song here - you know the French! ;)
