Another CupcakeCamp is in the works, this time in Vancouver. Follow them on Twitter and check out their new blog for details. (FYI - a quick search of Facebook didn't yield their Facebook page, but I'm sure they'll be posting the link soon.)
Currently, the organizers are putting together a laundry list of things that need to be done in order to hold the event, including finding sponsors, securing a space, and sourcing lots of cool prizes for the winners of the tasting/decorating challenge. We’re also working on developing the schedule for the event, and an official invitation for everyone who registers to attend!

What is CupcakeCamp Vancouver?
CupcakeCamp Vancouver is an event built on the ‘barcamp’ model, where people come together to share and eat cupcakes, and participate in cupcake tasting competitions! You don’t need to bake any cupcakes to participate, but there will be prizes awarded to the winners in the big cupcake competitions!
This event is not-for profit, and we will be donating all of the proceeds to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre, an organization that provides a safe, supportive space for women and children in Vancouver’s downtown east side.
