Photographer Norman Blake caught a paint and decorate your own ceramic cupcakes section at FAO Schwarz yesterday, and was kind enough to send us the images and info. So sez Norman:
Although I think it's kinda pricey, and you could probably do this elsewhere for less, it is FAO Schwarz, and it looks like a lot of fun. Maybe if you wanted to spoil a kid (or your own inner child)?

"Ceramic Cupcakes!!! I ran into FAO Schwarz yesterday and they have a do-it-yourself ceramic area on the second floor where you pick your raw piece, paint it, and pick it up done a week later (or they ship it to you if you are not around). They have 2 different small Cupcake knick knack dishes ($19.50 ea) and a large Cookie Jar ($75.00) for raw piece. Painting is free then there is a $12.00 firing fee for each piece. There is a photo of all the info. See pics of cupcake pieces."
