Mission: Berry-topped birthday cupcakes -- a success

Thank you all for your input on the question of how best to handle using fresh berries atop my travelin' cupcakes. As is usual with the savvy CTTC readers, y'all were right. The berries were just fine on top of the cupcakes, and survived travel and wait time without drying out or bleeding.

One very embarrassing moment at my friend JD's birthday party: One of his buddies is a professional pastry chef, and works for Danny Meyer. He was on the frozen custard/Shake Shack team for the past couple years. I hate submitting my home-baked beginner babies to a pro! I was a bit worried but he didn't make me feel like an idiot. Whew.

Where did you get your cupcake carriers? I always find myself at a complete lost to get my cupcakes where they need to be!

Thanks!
