Need cupcake suggestions in Kansas City, MO

I'm going to Kansas City from June 26-28, and so far I know about (and will be photographing/videotaping/taste testing):

Babycakes

Cupcake a La Mode

Sweet City Cupcakes

I also read about Boulevard Bakery on Yelp but have to investigate that one.

For those who are in the know, is there anywhere else (doesn't have to be a "cupcake bakery" per se, can be a cafe or restaurant or shop) that I should check out for cupcakes in Kansas City, Missouri? Comment here or email me at cupcakestakethecake at gmail.com

Thanks!

I can't wait for the post on Babycakes because we have one near us in Los Angeles! Every time I decide to stop in, they're either closed for the day or we just missed them. I'm so intrigued!

KC is my hometown so I have made the rounds! Babycakes was pretty good when I went - small, it has been a few years though. I was impressed with Cupcake a la mode - pleasantly surpised because the majorly pink decor kinda scared me! I am excited to try more cupcakes there. I don't know if you will have a car, but there is a great little bakery in prarie village, KS called Dolce Baking Company. They tend to have cupcakes and I always go there when I come home. http://dolcebakingcompany.com/
Their website is very new, but it is a great local little bakery.
I love Andres: http://www.andreschocolates.com/dining.php
You can look at their daily menu, it has a ton of character.
If you are into the whole healthy/vegan eating scene check out Eden Alley. http://www.edenalley.com/
Its in the basement of a church on the plaza, very close to cupcake a la mode. Enjoy KC! It is really a great town, but you might have to do some searching to find the greatness!

Come over to my house! I'll make you tons of cupcakes. Still can't come up with the "right" name, but the bakery is always open!

Definitely try out 3 women and an oven...awesome. Cupcake A La Mode is a definitely favorite too. I am not a Babycakes fan, but that's just me.
