Win Martha Stewart's Cupcakes - enter by Friday!

Final cover of Martha Stewart's Cupcakes

If you're one of the cupcake lovers who hasn't yet gotten a copy of the new cookbook Martha Stewart's Cupcakes: 175 Inspired Ideas for Everyone's Favorite Treat, this contest is for you!

Entries must be received by Friday, June 12th at 5 pm EST and there will be THREE winners. U.S. addresses only. One entry per person. Our comments are moderated, so please give us time to approve your comment and leave a way to contact you or else, obviously, we can't contact you. The book is also for sale at marthastewart.com.

To enter, leave your email address or URL (with contact info on it) and tell us which of Martha Stewart's cupcake recipes you'd most like to make. (They don't have to be from the book, since if you're entering you probably don't have it yet.)

Speaking of Martha Stewart's Cupcakes, 552 people have entered her cupcake photo contest based on the book! There is much adorableness there.

And...if you don't win (or even if you do), you can also win a copy live, in person, at our cupcake picnic this Saturday in Central Park. You don't have to RSVP, but we'd appreciate it if you do at our Meetup group and let us know what you're bringing (if you know).

Saturday, June 13, 2-4 pm
Cupcakes Take the Cake's Third Annual Central Park Picnic

We will be at Cedar Hill which is near 79th Street and 5th Avenue on the east side of the park. Take the 6 to 77th Street and walk west to 5th Avenue.

Bring homemade or store-bought cupcakes to share. Or bring picnic stuff (blankets, napkins, knifes, water)

Picnic starts at 2PM and ends at 4PM unless it rains.

Kids are welcome! Dogs and loud music are not.

I would love to make Martha's Gingerbread Cupcakes. Since I am a poor college student, I have taken to handing out baked goods for every holiday that requires gift-giving. Last December, I decided to be daring and make a Chocolate Souffle for a Christmas Party I was attending. Surprisingly, what ended up looking like chocolate pudding/mud was not a big hit with friends of mine. I felt so guilty that I went out and used my January rent money on fancy individual presents.

This Christmas, I want to be prepared with something impressive (yet easy!) like Gingerbread Cupcakes to make up for what is now known as the Souffle Disaster of 2008.

I can't choose just ONE! It's between s'mores and those high hat cupcakes. I'm not sure I'm brave enough for the high hats!
Please enter me, I honestly have never had a red velvet anything, so the book would inspire me to make it :D

Love Martha and I'd make the Boston Cream Cupcakes, yum! I used to make Boston Cream Pies when I was a young girl, I miss the taste, and a cupcake is just the right size for indulging.
