This is a key lime cupcake with Ginger Snap crust and key lime filing and meringue frosting by Flickr user JillMade.

I have developed this huge fondness for key lime anything, really, especially key lime cupcakes, and lemon too, whereas I used to think I was a vanilla person first and foremost. Has my palate evolved, or have I just tasted the specialness of the perfect blend of sweet and tart?
