Last night, Rachel and I along with Nora and our new intern Melissa set a world record for the longest cupcake kebab which was measured by URDB official at 33 and 1/2 inches. The cupcakes were made by Nora and we went for a Neapolitan theme. She made strawberry with chocolate frosting cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes with strawberry frosting. I brought fresh strawberry and puffy marshmallows to use as spacers between the cupcakes. One of my friends suggested that I use Spam Pam to spray on the wooden dowel to make it easier for the cupcakes to slide on them. It worked like a charm. This was not a timed event, but it took us less than 10 minutes to do it. The hardest part of the evening was not eating all the cupcakes and strawberries before we got onstage to set the record. It was so much fun!

In all seriousness, congrats to the whole team for getting that World Record. It was a fun night filled with flying food, pyrotechnics, and of course, delicious cupcakes.
