This past weekend's Eat Real Festival at Oakland's Jack London Square was the maiden voyage for Sweetface Bakery's van - Sweet Roll - which now cruises the Bay Area on weekends, offering treats like the Strawberry Dipped Chocolate cupcake, frosting shots and cookie sandwiches, ($2-$3). sweetfacebakery.com; or twitter.com/sweetfacebakery.
Also new, mobile-only Cupkates caters daily in Berkeley and Oakland with Red Velvet (their signature), S'mores, a riff on Twinkies and other flavors ($2.50-$2.57). cupkatesbakery.com, or twitter.com/cupkatestruck.
Kara's Cupcakes recently added the Karavan to its five Bay area stores where you can get your favorite flavors for $3.25. karascupcakes.com or twitter.com/karascupcakes.

Since it's hard to imagine how these trucks would operate on the go (as opposed to being parked in one place all the time) without Twitter, here's a sample Tweet from each.
