Fashion's Night Out serves free cupcakes as Fashion Week hits New York

In which I vainly attempt to round up all the cupcake happenings related to Thursday's Fashion's Night Out (if you don't know what it is, click the link - I live in New York and while it's nearly impossible to miss the ads/signs/hype, I am still not totally sure what it is, I just know that tomorrow it's going to be insane and there will be cupcakes, fashionistas and models everywhere). Fashion Week and cupcakes seem to always be connected; if there's anything we missed, leave a comment or write us at cupcakestakethecake at gmail.com and Blake Lively - you KNOW we love you and would love to interview you about your favorite cupcakes any time. xoxo, Cupcake Girl (aka Rachel)

Seriously, send us your sightings and/or Twitpic and let us know if, like, the Olsen twins are eating cupcakes or something because we can't be everywhere at once. I'm going to try to catch the Magnolia Bakery cupcakes because I've been meaning to stop by there and those sound cute.

The New York Times:

Ralph Lauren’s stores on Bleecker Street will have cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery (but watch out for Blake Lively, an expected guest and admitted cupcake scarfer).

Temptalia:

Korres: Head to the Korres stores in Manhattan and Brooklyn for an evening of cocktails and makeovers. Both stores will feature ‘Detox Bubbles, Cupcakes & More’ for guests to enjoy. The stores will include a detox bar serving complimentary antioxidant-infused cocktails based on the Greek skincare brand’s natural ingredients – Wild Rose, Pomegranate, Thyme Honey & Sugar Crystal – along with delicious cupcakes also ‘packed’ with natural ingredients. All guests will receive a gift bag including global bestsellers and Korres favorites selected by the VOGUE beauty team.

Magnolia Bakery: Magnolia Bakery is dressing up their classic cupcake by creating a special Fashion’s Night Out Cupcake and donating a portion of proceeds to the 9/11 Memorial Fund.

Krasey Beautiful:

I must admit that I had never heard of Cupcake Republic, but according to their site:

Cupcake Republic is a bakery located in Weehawken, NJ.

Email us at orders@cupcakerepublic.com. We deliver within the NJ and NYC area.

We are crazy about wholesome, fresh cupcakes made with “guilt-free” ingredients. This means pure organic brown sugar and no eggs or dairy. Surprisingly, many of our testers have told us our cupcakes taste far better than the traditional sugar-eggs-butter rich versions. We’re not kidding!

What you’ll get from Cupcake Republic are completely pure, frosting-licious cupcakes that are good enough for your loved ones. We vet every ingredient we put into our cakes — they are all natural or organic and purchased from the finest purveyors.

You can also be their fan on Facebook. We promise to investigate with our mouths soon if their cupcakes taste as good as they look:

Update:

And in my own neighborhood, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Market Publique is doing a pop up shop and there will be cupcakes.
