CupcakeCamp Montreal is November 22nd!

Yes, it's true, the latest CupcakeCamp (click there to find out about how to hold a CupcakeCamp in your town), a worldwide phenomenon, CupcakeCamp Montreal, is coming up on Sunday, November 22nd, and if we can judge by these photos by Eva Blue via Flickr, they're going all out. And it's a fundraiser for Kids Help Phone, which according to their site:

Our mission is to improve the well-being of Canadian children and youth by providing them anonymous and confidential professional counselling, referrals, and information through technologically-based communications media. Last year, we helped Canadian kids in need well over two million times through our phone and online counselling services.

And they need bakers! Here's the official details from their site:

upcake Camp welcomes all types of cupcake bakers – from professionals to creative geniuses to enthusiastic first time bakers. Join us in a celebration of the sweet, sweet (or savory if you’re so inclined) goodness of cupcakes. By sharing your gifts in the kitchen with the world, you’ll be making life sweeter for kids in need too. Love and caring comes in many forms but the sweetest of all are cupcakes and a compassionate ear!

A donation of 200 or more cupcakes makes you an official Cupcake Camp sponsor. Please fill out the form to join Cupcake Camp, pledge your support as a baker and to let us know how you’d like to be involved. We’ll be asking bakers to drop off their donations on the day of Cupcake Camp and our volunteers will be organizing and hosting the tables so that you are free to enjoy yourself tasting other participants’ cupcakes, sharing recipes and celebrating the power of the cupcake as a force for good in the world.

With photos like the ones here (again, by Eva Blue, who did a stunning job!), how can you not want to go to this? Wish I could be in Montreal for it - maybe next year (if there is one next year)!
