The Naked CupCake opens in Galveston, Texas

What's a naked cupcake? One without frosting. The Galveston Daily News reports:

Hello Cupcake: For some, the word “cupcake,” is attention-grabbing enough. But toss in the word “naked,” and it’s sure to cause a buzz. Angela Fanos has done just that with the opening of The Naked Cupcake & Coffee Cafe, 1001 S. FM 270, in League City.

Why naked? The cupcakes are au naturel until customers dress them with icings of their own choosing. Options include chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and cream cheese. The shop offers espresso drinks, frappés, smoothies, Greek and Turkish coffees and more.

According to their website, the motto of The Naked CupCake (aka "The Naked CupCake and Coffee Cafe," their full title) is "we bake 'em, you dress 'em" and they also offer cupcake shots ("your favorite cupcake with filling in a shot glass") and the full cupcake menu offerings are:
