And we've got more turkey cupcakes coming up...speaking of which, I will be in LA over Thanksgiving weekend if anyone wants to meet up, I'll be there Thursday to Sunday. Yes, we are a NYC-based but very traveling blog.
So onto these adorable turkey cupcakes that you can make yourself!
See Sweet! for more information and instructions on making these fun holiday-themed cupcakes.

The recipe showed tiny green sugar pearls as “the peas” and Red Coarse Sugar as the “cranberries.” I could not find the green pearls so I improvised, as any baker about town should, and found a sprinkle mixture that looked like peas and carrots!
The Mashed potatoes are simple white icing…. the recipe called for yellow decorating gel as the butter. I tried one with the yellow and my entire family said “why is there a fried egg at Thanksgiving?” So the butter was axed.
The table tops were tea cookies, the recipe called for Peek Freans Arrowroot biscuits. Yeah I’ve never heard of those either… I live in Florida… so Goya Cookies it is! Plus I don’t know about those foo foo cookies they mentioned, but the Goya cookies I bought were 85 cents! Nice eh?
I iced the cupcakes with chocolate and edged with orange sanding sugar. Without the sugar it looked too plain to me. It was a sad empty edge! Towards the end I started building the “meals” first THEN adding them on top. It’s up to you.
