I am a firm believer that anything with glitter is inherently more cheerful than anything without. Sure, there are times when it's not appropriate (like on an official report or on a fancy outfit), but edible glitter is one of life's little delights (along with, yes, cupcakes). So these gingerbread cookie cupcakes from the London's custom dessert company Lavender Bakery (via Flickr) made me smile. I think, though, if I were to try to eat one, I'd separate the cookie from the cupcake before I tried to eat them.
