Spot Dessert Bar is the new home of former Batch proprietor Pichet Ong. Melissa posted about their cupcake offerings, but I finally got to check them out over the weekend and am so excited about this cozy spot on St. Mark's Place. I will post more about all their cupcake offerings and constantly-updated desserts (Vietnamese coffee ice cream!) but for now, this photo of their green tea cupcakes will have to suffice (jam filling not shown). Cupcakes are $2.75 each and well worth it (and when I was there Sunday night they were thinking of starting to offer mini cupcakes, which I highly encourage!). Another post about Spot will be coming very soon, but I wanted to share this because it's so good, you should check it out (though I caution that Saturday night it's very crowded, but you can still walk in and get cupcakes to go).
