sugar Sweet sunshine at Union Square holiday market and LES store

I don't have a photo of the sugar Sweet sunshine (their spelling) peppermint cupcakes, but I did eat part of one and highly recommend them - I think it's peppermint cream cheese frosting but it didn't taste so cream cheesey, just a sweet powerful peppermint on chocolate cake. They have a stall near the Ghandi statue in Union Square so you can eat a cupcake while doing your holiday shopping. There cupcakes are $2 but at the LES store they are the original $1.50 price.
