Monday, I stopped by Sweet Revenge to have cupcakes with Hagan Blount who is doing this project, 93 Plates. While there, I spoke to owner Marlo Scott and she told me about this sweet Haiti fundraiser that will take place this Saturday, January 30.

Sweet Revenge will introduce a new, limited-edition, Haitian inspired cupcake consisting of delicate Mexican vanilla cake, guava buttercream, complete with a rich and luscious guava filling. It's paired with a traditional Haitian Kremas cocktail, a smooth concoction of cream of coconut, vanilla and almond extract, and sprinkled with just the right dash of nutmeg and cinnamon. You are invited to come and enjoy the new, Haitian inspired, delectably unique goodies and lend a helping hand to Haiti.
Entertainment includes live music and DJ Lenox, all performing Haitian inspired tunes, and United Nations’ guest speaker Treena Huang. There will a raffle where prizes include a $10 Sweet Revenge gift card, one dozen cupcakes, a bottle of Cavit Lunetta Prosecco, and the grand prize of a Sweet Revenge signature 7-inch “oversized” cupcake of the winner’s choice.
