Georgetown Cupcake made it official tonight: owners Katherine Kallinis and Sophie LaMontagne will star in a new reality show on TLC, "Cupcake Sisters." The filming begins Saturday, just before Valentine's Day (their 2nd anniversary) and runs for several weeks, following the women as they face the challenges of the more "interesting" orders. The project has been in the works for a few months, with some of us sworn to secrecy. Rumors were, of course, rampant. But I got a text tonight from Sophie saying "it's official!"...
...both Katherine and Sophie were reluctant. They moved forward when they were assured this would not be a show about their personal lives, but instead about the "drama" running a phenomenal cupcake business. Don't laugh. There's a lot of drama in the ole cupcake factory.
