Twenty-four chocolate cupcakes. They don't look too intimidating, unless you have to eat all of them in just 12 minutes.
Last Saturday, six amateur competitive eaters participated in the second annual Ivy Bakery cupcake eating competition. I was there to judge watching the contestants eat the cupcakes and counting the ones left.
No contestant ate 24 cupcakes, but Brian Pham who also works at the Food Bank of New York won! He ate 19 cupcakes. It was a fun afternoon in Bay Ridge.
