June 2010 cupcake event details wanted

It’s that time again. If you’re doing any June cupcake events, send us the date and time, name of the event, 2-3 sentence description, price, URL and images, if any and we’ll do our best to include it in our June 2010 cupcake calendar posting (and will post it at right). When i went to buy the things i need to make cupcakes for my birthday, i could not find a muffin pan. I only bought the mix, frosting, and the cupcake liners. They said if you don't have a muffin pan, you can use foil liners but i bought the paper ones already. So can i just double or triple the paper liners to make it as strong as a foil liner so it can hold up my cupcake?
