I like to think that I know about every cupcake baker or bakery in the city, but someone new (or at least new to me) pops up. Last week at the Brooklyn Lyceum Food and Craft Fair I met Donna Block, owner of DB Sweets. She is a cake artist and custom cake and cupcake baker. I tasted one of her cupcakes, a bourbon infused cupcake with a marshmallow frosting. It was delicious! I didn't get a great picture of it, but here it is.
Starting this weekend, Donna will be selling her cupcakes at the new Hester Street Fair in the Lower East Side.
