I'm working on getting the June 2010 cupcake calendar of events up today or tomorrow, but this July 4th event deserves its own post. CupcakeCamp Paris will be held in, yes, Paris, France on July 4th. For those unfamiliar with the fun, magic and madness that are CupcakeCamps, visit cupcakecamp.org to read about past events and find out how to organize your own. There's a Facebook page to keep up with the event and they are also @CupcakeCampPAR on Twitter. All proceeds go to the charity Rebuilding Haiti Now.
Cupcake Camp Paris :
4 July 2010/4 juillet 2010
Bistrot Vivienne, 75002 Paris
Cupcake Camp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and eat cupcakes in an open environment.
Le principe de Cupcake Camp est de rassmbler des gens partageant une meme passion pour les cupcakes dans un environnement convivial et festif.
How cool is this Eiffel Tower cupcake logo?
Berko is just one of the bakeries whose cupcakes will be included in the event. Via the CupcakeCamp Paris blog:
The cakes are aesthetically pleasing with flavors that don’t disappoint. With around 35 cupcakes including violet, cherry, chocolate mousse, Oreo, and a tasty salted caramel, there is something for everyone at Berko.
Synie's will also be participating (we don't have room here to post all the participating bakeries, but do visit the CupcakeCamp Paris blog for full details):
