Oh my goodness! Another summer-themed bit of cupcake awesomeness: the lobster cupcake cake! It was inspired by the cookbook What's New, Cupcake? by Karen Tack and Alan Richardson (visit hellocupcakebook.com for more from them). The sand! The eyes! The legs! The claws! The shell! The...whiskers? (I know that's not the right word but can't think of the right one.) Seriously: major cupcake cuteness. If this doesn't make you smile, I don't know what will. Via Flickr.

- vanilla buttercream (plus red and blue dye)
- graham cracker crumbs
- red hot lips candies
- green shoe strip licorice
- red raspberry licorice twists
