Who wouldn't want to work at a place that serves cupcakes and cocktails every Wednesday afternoon?! Yesterday, I went to Hunter Public Relations' offices near Madison Square Park for their weekly cupcake event. Hunter represents a variety of wines and spirits brands including Barefoot Bubbly. Cupcakes and Cocktails started last year as a fun way for everyone at Hunter to learn about clients’ products, and taste great drinks that can be created from them. So far, they have ordered from 28 bakeries and tried 70 different cupcakes. Cassie, the executive assistant, plans the theme each week for Cupcakes and Cocktails. Yesterday's was a beach theme. Cupcakes were from Sugar Sweet Sunshine, and Cassie actually sprinkled graham cracker crumbs on top of the blue frosted cupcakes to make it look like sand. It was great to meet all the staff at Hunter PR, and thanks to Tracy for inviting me!
