Why is it that frogs on cupcakes are so cute?

These animal cupcakes are from the Facebook page of Yum Cupcakery in Gainesville, Florida. They made me think: I'm not really into frogs as animals, I wouldn't freak out in happiness if I ran into one (I don't think), but frog cupcakes? They make me smile. Why is that? That's half a rhetorical question, have a genuine one. Do you find that certain animals or objects look cute on cupcakes, but not in real life?
